The payment of child increases will end at the beginning of April
Due to the legislative amendment, child increments will no longer be paid for unemployment or lay-off days as of 1 April 2024. Until the end of March, the amount of the child increment is EUR 130–240 per month, depending on the number of children.
Employment rate of KOKO members weakened in 2023
The employment rate of KOKO members weakened during 2023. During the year, the fund received a total of 102 503 earnings-related daily allowance applications, which is 12% more than in 2022, when 91 589 applications were received. A total of 14 336 first applications were received (2022: 8 278).

eService will be offline 21 December 2023 – 1 January 2024 due to the merger of the ETTK fund with KOKO
KOKO’s eService will be offline from 21 December 2023 to 1 January 2024, during which KOKO will be unable to accept daily allowance applications. The eService outage is due to work being done on systems as part of the merger of the two funds.

Majority of members give KOKO full marks for its services
KOKO’s recent customer satisfaction survey shows that members highly value the services KOKO offers. The overall score given to KOKO’s services by the members (on a scale of 1 to 6) is 5.43. The majority of respondents, 57.6%, give KOKO a full 6 points.
The membership fee for KOKO is 63 € in 2024.
KOKO fund’s membership fee for 2024 is 63 euros, meaning the membership fee remains the same as in 2023.
Government proposes several changes to the unemployment security system
The Government has submitted a proposal to reform the Unemployment Security Act to Parliament. The proposed changes include extending the waiting period and the length of employment history required to qualify for an unemployment allowance, abolishing child supplements and standard entitlements and reintroducing periodised holiday compensation.
