In 2026, the KOKO membership fee will increase by EUR 6, bringing the new fee to EUR 69.
“The membership fee has remained unchanged for several years, but now a small increase is necessary. The increase is due to a prolonged period of higher unemployment among our members. For several years, the number of KOKO members receiving earnings-related unemployment allowance has been higher than usual, increasing costs. Currently, a little over 10,000 people receive daily allowance each month, compared to a little over 6,000 three years ago,” says Outi Mäki, Fund Director at KOKO.
Membership fee invoices will be sent early next year
Membership fee invoices for direct members of KOKO will be sent as follows:
- e-invoices in week 3
- paper invoices in two batches in weeks 4 and 5.
Trade union members of the KOKO fund can obtain information about membership fee invoicing and other related matters from their union.
The KOKO fund membership fee is an annual fee set by the Financial Supervisory Authority on an annual basis.
