From the beginning of April, the courses and activities of some municipalities, trade unions, organizations and employers also count towards the activity requirement. The actions supporting employment will, however, only accumulate activity if they take place during a monitoring period starting on 1.4.2019 at the earliest.
Activities to be considered as counting towards the activity requirement must be employment-promoting, and a certificate on such activities must be submitted to the unemployment fund.
In the future, you can search for courses and activities that promote employment via the Suomi.fi service. It is recommended that you verify with the service provider that the service fulfils the activity requirement.
