During county and municipal elections, many people work in important roles as vote counters or election officials. If you are getting an earnings-related daily allowance, please note that the remuneration you receive for these tasks may affect your daily allowance.
If you get paid for being a member of an election committee, it is a position of trust and will not affect your daily allowance.
If you get paid to work as a vote counter or election assistant, it is considered an employment relationship, and the remuneration will be taken into consideration. In this case, you will receive an adjusted daily allowance.
