The Finnish Parliament has approved an additional index adjustment for social benefits for 2022. With this adjustment, the amount of earnings-related allowance, mobility assistance and job alternation compensation will increase. The adjustment will increase benefits paid from 1 August to 31 December 2022.
The index increment will apply to the basic component of earnings-related allowance, which is equal to the basic unemployment allowance. Child increments and the increased component of basic unemployment allowance will also be increased.

If you receive daily allowance, you do not need to apply for the increase separately. KOKO will do the adjustment automatically.
