The application types are first, continuing, and express application

If are applying for unemployment allowance for the first time, or it is more than 6 months since your previous application, the KOKO fund’s eService will guide you in completing the first application. If you have applied for an allowance within the last 6 months, eService will direct you to fill in a continuing application or a express application.

You can submit an express application if there are no gaps between your application periods, there are no changes to your information, and you are fully unemployed or temporarily laid off. If you meet the conditions for submitting an express application, which is faster to fill in, eService will suggest it to you. Express applications are not handled any faster by the fund than continuing applications; all applications are processed in the order that they arrive.

If we need more information to process your application based on the information you have provided, you will see a list of the required attachments at the end of your application. You do not need to re-submit any information you have already sent to the fund, as we have them archived. If we find that we need further information from you when processing your application, the person handling your case will contact you.
